Terms of Service

1. What Courtside is

Courtside is a court-reservation and venue-management web app for sports venues, built and operated by RJ Cabansay ("we", "us") in the Philippines. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms.

2. Trials and payment

• New accounts get a 14-day free trial, no credit card required.
• After the trial, continued use requires a paid plan: ₱299/month or ₱3,000/year. Founding-venue pricing, where offered, stays at the offered rate while your subscription remains active.
• You can cancel anytime. We don't do lock-ins, and your data remains exportable before and after cancellation.

3. Your data, your device

• Courtside is local-first: your business data is stored in your browser on your device, not on our servers (see the Privacy Policy).
• This means you are responsible for backups. The app gives you one-tap backup export and reminds you when backups get old — use it. We cannot recover data that only existed on a device that was lost, broken, or had its browser storage cleared with no backup file.
• Customer data collected through your booking page belongs to your venue. Handle it lawfully and respectfully.

4. Payments between you and your customers

Courtside displays your own payment QR codes and records payment statuses you confirm. We are not a payment processor, never hold funds, and are not a party to transactions between you and your customers. Disputes about payments or no-shows are between you and your customer.

5. Fair use

Don't use Courtside for anything illegal, don't attempt to attack or overload the service, and don't resell access. We may refuse or end service for abuse.

6. The honest disclaimer

Courtside is provided "as is", built by one person who cares a lot. We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted availability and aren't liable for indirect damages, including lost bookings or revenue. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the previous three months.

7. Changes

Features evolve and these terms may too. The date above reflects the current version; material changes will be announced to active venues by email. Continued use after changes means acceptance.
